Zelab Studio is a web studio of five specialists, backed by a network of partners. We design, build and evolve platforms for teams that cannot afford to see them go down.
Who we are
We are based in Paris and we work with teams in healthcare, culture and online retail. Our job comes down to a few verbs: design, build, last. Design clear interfaces, build solid platforms, and last over the long run when traffic grows or needs change.
We often work with teams that already have a product in production: taking over what exists, understanding what works and what jams, then moving forward without breaking everything is part of the job.
We deliberately stay a small team. The people who listen to you at the first meeting are the ones who design the screens and write the code.
The studio has existed since 2017.
The team
Five specialists: design and code are not done in separate departments, and what one draws, the other already knows how to build.
Developers
They build the applications and the infrastructure, from the interface down to the server, and they take over code written by others without drama.
Designers
They design the journeys and the interfaces, then follow their implementation down to the last detail.
SEO specialist
Audit, technical fixes, content and search tracking, from the first mock-ups and not only after launch.
How we work
Scope
We define the goal, the constraints and the perimeter with you, after an audit of what exists. At the end of this step you know what we will do, in what order, and what it implies.
Design
Design, architecture and prototype move together. Technical choices are discussed with the designers from the start, and mock-ups are tested before they are coded.
Deliver and measure
Going live is not the end. We follow performance, search visibility and real usage, and we adjust what needs adjusting.
What matters to us
Candour first: we tell you what we know, what we do not know, and what will cost more than planned. Then durability: we build so the site still stands in five years, not just for the demo.
That means knowing how to say no: when a project is not right for us, it is better to point you elsewhere than to deliver half of it.
Finally, you stay in control. The code, the access and the figures belong to you, and we document what we deliver so you can change supplier without pain.
A network of partners
For some projects, we call on trusted partners and collaborators we are used to working with.
You keep a single point of contact, and we stay accountable for the result.
Let's talk about your project.
