Moving a PrestaShop store to a microservices environment.
The project
41watch sells Swiss collector watches. For this kind of product, the detailed listing, the photos and trust in the transaction matter more than in an ordinary shop.
The site ran on PrestaShop. We moved it to a microservices environment, to get past its limits in speed, scalability and load handling.

The challenges
Leaving an all-in-one tool like PrestaShop means rebuilding separately what it provided as a single block. Each piece has to be taken over, tested, then plugged back in.
The shop stayed open throughout the migration.
