The patient, doctor and pharmacy applications of a teleconsultation platform dedicated to hair loss.

The project
Hairdex is a teleconsultation platform specialised in hair loss. A doctor makes the diagnosis over video or chat, prescribes a treatment prepared to order by a partner pharmacy, then follows the patient over time. The service exists in French (hairdex.fr) and in English (hairdex.com).
The service brings together people with very different needs: the patient who wants to understand and feel reassured, the doctor who has to consult quickly without missing anything, and the pharmacy that prepares and ships the prescription.
What we did
- Patient application
- Design and development of the application used by patients: questionnaire, appointment booking, consultation, prescription, messaging with the doctor and booking of the treatment plan.
- Doctor application
- Design and development of the application used by doctors: consultation and prescribing.
- Pharmacy application
- Design and development of the application used by pharmacies: order management.
- Design and architecture
- We designed the interfaces and built the applications. The overhaul moved the platform from no-code to custom code, hosted on AWS, with data encryption and stronger security.
The challenges
A healthcare platform cannot be approximate with data: separated access, traceability, security, and an interface simple enough that a worried patient does not get lost. We notably set up data encryption and a secured infrastructure on AWS.
Data is hosted on AWS servers located in Paris, and payment goes through an escrow.
In short
- Project duration
- Two years
- Technologies
- Python, JavaScript, Strapi, AWS (Paris)
A platform to rethink?
